    Harley Bobber

Always fancied having a go at one of these- and despite having too many projects 'on the go'... decided life is too short!

So as a starting point- I really like the stance of this unfinished project... proper adventure getting it- but I like adventures

I'll add a few more up-to-date pictures, as I a quite a bit further on than this image...

So- its a 1200 Sportster engine, 'work-of-art' exhaust, offset engine, goose neck frame and (very) fat wheels, it will no doubt ride like '*******' but should stop with a billet 6 front brake. the sprung seat and hardtail will test my aging bones and the un-silenced exhausts will no doubt **** everyone off, even me if I go too far... It will look quite cool (as long as this is 'your thing'.. ) but if it isn't them remember I am building it for me not you ..

More to follow if anyone is interested..

    Rich

Here's a few more, I usually complete a lot of the build myself- but no time, too cold and generally cant be arsed right now- that's why I have too many things in bits- so have had quite a bit done for me. It's going back for a few 'snags'- but then when it's back should be up and running and upsetting my neighbours as much as my '32..

So images to give you (and me) some enthusiasm to keep going..

I will add more when the bike comes back and the rear brake is fitted all up... I have started the rear number plate mounting, cant decide in what rear light to use, then its wiring time and a battery! Not having any handlebar switches and it will start (I hope) in the ignition key... Bit of a money-pit these, as all the work and parts add-up, but I never really see one that I totally fall-for.. so 'build-yer-own' is best, let me know what you think- and any ideas gratefully received.
I may not paint it - as raw steel, with brass accents seem to really suit it...

Thanks for the positive comments- especially Liam... as I still owe you a beer or two as well Mate!

    All the best

    Rich

It is actually proper ceramic tiles... took a while to complete and my lady did the grouting ( bless her.. ) easy to clean- doesn't like being welded on though- and when you drop a nut or bolt they bounce like **** and disappear somewhere- never to be found... I've spent ages looking for things I've dropped...
Does look classy though- I think...
