    V8 based Hot Rod

So this is my build thread. Those of you who read my intro will have seen that I normally build choppers but I have a feeling for a Hot Rod to compliment them. Planning to use the front and rear axles, engine and gearbox and that's about it.

I want to build my own chassis, may go for something different like tube trellis. Not sure yet, I am still in the process of stripping out the car and selling what I don't want.

The only people that I can find that fabricate a sedan body is Hardy County Hot Rods, so I guess I'll pay them a visit if nothing closer comes up.

There is a lot about this build that I don't know what I will do but it will all come clearer once I have the bare bones to start from.

Here's a couple of pics of the Jag, not much will be kept here!

    Cheers, Dan.

So this is the body that Hardy County Hotrods sell. It would be an easy choice but for the 1000 mile round trip to collect.

looks to be worth the trip
ps just checked and they seem to be in bridport, dorset so even if you're the opposite side of norfolk at great yarmouth you're only 285 miles away according to google maps, so a 570 mile round trip by my calculations. that's not so bad dude

Hey Daddy, not sure about the gearbox. May just keep what I have due to the lack of budget!
