maibe use front wheel drive CRS couplers , these can do a bit more angle , seen them used in raised 4wd cars
Well put !
No kidding myles , these 750 16 tyres seem way more grippy than i thought .
So off i went in the bucketing rain and 6c to my local eccentric rock god , and found a transit prop to take apart and machine and try to find a way to avoid staked joints .
before i left there , i thought i would just go and have a dekko at the old diesel engine i had taken the mt75 box off, to get its clutch plate for the centre for the DB9 clutch conversion ....
lo and behold , on the back of the box was this ...
it's a prop yoke the right size WITH CIRCLIPS !!!
i may have raised my eyebrow at least 1/4 of an inch .
hot footed home and took off the prop on the car , as you can see it broke both welds ..
which caused this much play ..
no wonder it had gone all Anne summers on me .
got the prop all back together
and its now back on the car ...noice .
Bet your other eyebrow would have twitched a tiny bit too if it'd had a grease nipple too!
Whirrr whirrr chuff chuff de chuff........chuff......BRUMMMM!

Who is anne summers and what has she got to with the play in your shaft ?
think he meant play with youre shaft
maybe it was in reference to the propshaft vibratonosity in its autodisassembly state.....
i am pleased to say i have so far avoided having a grease nipple on my eyebrow , it moves up and down smoothly with no external lubrication
Anne Summers ,or "Annius Sumericus" ,as she was known in pagan times , was an ancient fertility goddess , associated with people doin it.
Life's eternal questions. Who is Armitage? What is shanking?
