OK So ram air induction by Robert rather than Suzuki, It doesn't matter how you crack the egg so long as it cracks so your approach should overcome the issue, waiting with baited breath now.....

exactly, i am looking forward to the first crank , bearing in mind both engines will have some dodgy old secondhand multi spark uber poweful sparks boxes , and the lpg will not be calibrated in any way for the engines , there could well be a set of 12 bellmouths hurtling off over the neighbouring hedge ,and the titanium pipes may end up dead straight !

I'm struggling to get a 4 pot Beetle to run!
Fantastic job to even attempt joining two engine together, way above my backyard skills

    Hi Robert
I haven't looked in for a while......Wow you aren't afraid of stuff which i can barely understand, let alone attempt.
And i thought I had problems!
I'm sure you'll get it all sorted, look what you've accomplished already!
I may live in East London, I may have a number plate that reads "Chopt", but I do NOT use 6" wheel spacers!

thank you ian , much appreciated

i did a little bit of work today , i plugged the ecu into a simulator on the dining room table , all worked as it should , i could twiddle knobs and watch the revs change etc on the laptop ,so all my soldering has not killed anything .

Next i connected a pc based oscilloscope leant to me , and checked to see if my two separate ignition signals ,one for each engine ,were working ,and also see if they were 45 degrees apart as set in the software ....

the purple is one signal ,the orange the other , and along the bottom of the graph is time , and up the side is voltage .

you can see the switching where the zero volts switches to 5v , then back to zero ,.which triggers the msd ignition box to fire. also you can see the purple and orange signals are changing voltages at different times , as is needed for my bizzarre engine setup ,where the back engine fires 45 degrees after the front , its all looking a bit promising .

    regards
    robert

When the late Micheal Oliver (Great Dorset Steam Show founder) was asked what kept him going, he said with his big chuckle “I think it’s quite nice to be a bit big headed and know what a good job you’re supposed to have made of it, and I thoroughly enjoy that”

Be like Micheal to avoid a fading mojo..
