    Really happy with result so far



















    Just have three sheets left so I'll do the roof next I think,I'll leave the floor under the bench until it's stripped out for reupholsterey .Must also made up hardboard template for the door panels and kick panels,I think I'll do some Mf rings in fiberglass for speaker pods in the kick wells and then cover over ala door cards...

    What do people use to fix door cards, screws and timber washers or hidden ???

    Well

    I started to remove the doors panels to make up a template for the trimmer, I also thought I'd soundproof the door skins as i had extra dynamat . I found the inner doorskins to be rust free although covered in a spray type coating.almost like a concrete coating.i also started installing the central locking and alarm. discovered the actuators arnt up to the Jon ,,,

    Very nice , i would treat inside the doors with waxoil or similar while your at it, you will get used to the steering the trick is to rock back and forth when turning in tight spots welcome to the world of old trucks

    I was surprised how good the doors were , am going to dynamat them and it's a garage stored truck so would I still need to wax it, have never done it. Before ???

    I used a paraffin gun put the pot in an old pan of water and boiled it on a camping stove, spray it hot and it gets into all the joints then sets

    Parked it round front in the drive tonite and put a few neon tubes in,under and in the bed All the neighbours kids were over to get photos in it . With the Matt black it really suited Halloween
