Well, it's all in the name really.
Wayne at Intergalactic is going to put this engine into this car using the medium of a full tube chassis.
    600+ hp and 590 ft/lbs of torque
    6 speed box
Same gearing as a Viper, should approach 200 mph!!!!!!!!
Should look pretty much stock from the outside "except lowered, wheels and the funny car cell)

My only concern is will the Marina axle take the power? I've got one from an 1800TC as they have drum btakes and maybe stronger

Anyone else think I'm mad too?

Gotta a job now so we can press ahead with the build

Will I be frowned upon as it's not a V8?
    What d'ya reckon?

The 1800 axle will be more than adequate as long as you feather the clutch. I'd imagine an 1800 twin carb motor in fine tune would put out roughly the same power as the Viper motor anyway.

If the V10 is frowned upon you can disconnect two of the plug leads.

Yes, you are mad. Hatstand infact.

Box of frogs has been another description too.

Glad you think the same as others. I really had to rack my brains to go one better than my old twin turbo'd minor and be different.

    Mission will be accomplished....Hopefully.....

The Marina axle will be fine providing you use rubber wheel studs. That way they will flex & take some of the shock rather than trashing the diff.

Regarding the axle....can you not narrow a Viper one?

If you do and no longer need the Marina axle,i'll put it under mine to keep it safe for ya.

A reliant robin one should be the right width for my wheel and tyre combo.

I was also thinking about using rubber tube for the half shafts. That means they'll stay warm in the winter, they'll "twist up" then release the power steadily and be nice and light too.

Viper axles are IRS and everything is bloody expensive
