    my big cresta project

After many years of general tinkering, mending, minor mods and doing all those little jobs which are needed to keep various old cars on the road I have just begun my first proper build up (well, tear down at least).

This is how it looked long ago

    and now

so a little bit of work then

    Gary

Nothing radical. and to try not to let my ambition exceed my ability

I'd like it to be smooth, leave off the badges and handles, clean engine bay but stock motor, low(ish), a cool and subtle uk kustom. I've sort of got the picture in my head, just need to do it thats all.

That looks like there is surprisingly little rust for a Vauxhall of that era, you've got a good'un there.

don't know if its that good

although I suppose it's not as bad as some. From the looks of some of the talented folk who post on this site it might be just a few weekends work to some people. Scares the hell out of me tho' to see it like this.

Oh and it willbe at the metro , just don't look for it anytime soon

    I HAVE A FLOOR!!

Now I know that this isn't the sort of work that makes you go "ooooh" and "wow" but I'm feeling quite pleased with myself so there

It's just a pity that when it's back on it's wheels it looks just the same as it did six months ago
