I will have to work out exactly how the filler will work, I really hate cutting holes in bodywork, so will probably be filled by opening the boot; almost enough room for a spare wheel, might need to modify the parcel shelf (don't know where me nodding dog is going to go now....)

Yep no photos, the b*strd computer has updated and turned the flash player off! stay tuned next week.......

So it looks like we're back to thumbnails (f*ck!) keeps saying I need flash player 9...... but the flashplayer has been re enabled on my pc?

Ok none the wiser (thanks for the help though) I'm on windows 10, having visited the flashplayer website I was able to re enable said player, (cant download another version as it's integrated in w10) however using the test facility on the fp page that says it is still disabled? I hate thumbnails, so I would like to get it sorted, but I have already exceeded my ability with this techy stuff!
Just a passer by as you might say.

Are you using Edge as a browser? if so it wont work. Firefox is good and will work fine.

Yes I've been using edge all the while, just had a problem yesterday; if I persist it says don't let this page create another message?

    I'll try explorer.

We're back! so as I was saying........... here is the new fuel tank, minutes after a thunderstorm, which rather unhelpfully flooded the workshop! (should have shut the doors!)

I used explorer! obviously something has happened to edge, because fp is enabled, and yet on the adobe site the checker says it isn't!

Yes, I tried many browsers when I researched the answers, all could be made to work except Edge. It's in the security settings (as flash is vulnerable to hacking) in Edge it's just too difficult to override it to allow flash.

Not been ebay'd or scrapped (yet)! I finally bit the bullet a couple of months ago to remove the engine for overhaul, it ran like a swiss watch, albeit coal powered, and was un useable, the engine (and all that surrounded it) was incredibly filthy and appeared to have been in situ for the last 80 years, but as it turns out that's not the case.

When I purchased the vehicle it came with a set of NOS + 0.20" pistons, (always a bit of a worry) but reassuring when you consider the likelihood of finding a set for an engine of this age; however on stripping the engine it had already been bored to +0.40" and was worn out at that size (unless you consider 1/8" ring gaps within tolerance!)

So the hunt was on for another set of pistons, which after taking out a small mortgage were acquired, and the block sent away for machining.

Fast forward to yesterday, and the block (shiny and clean) is back and ready for rebuild; also attached is a piccy of the sump, not yet cleaned and unfortunately now my steam cleaner is sulking, it looks like a long drawn out job by hand.(those were the days!)
