My Model A money pit.
Thought I'd have a go at a build thread. Any suggestions / advice welcome.
After I finished my coupe a year or so ago, had the urge to get back in garage, so after some searching found the makings of a model A pickup, in July of last year.
This had been imported for donor panels, by a chap doing a ground up restoration to original standard. In the end he had only used the rear sheet metal, as the rest was in worse condition than what he already had.
So I brought cowl, fuel tank, doors and his original rear panel. He also included some other leftovers in the sale, including: bonnet, rear cross member, couple of repair patches, stake bed pockets etc.

As the wood work was rotten, I decided to steel out the cab, starting with B pillars, also incorporated a recessed door jamb as I want flush fitting doors, and it adds a smidge more space.

Next made a frame to support rear panel.

Next step was to start to piece it back together. I've also extended the cab by "2.

Thats it for now, if anybody's interested I'll stick a few more upto date pics on.
Cheers,
Gav.
