    Clear overlay added, 90% happy with it but it's not tight to the letters unfortunately. I'll trim the excess off with a scalpel later to make it a bit less obvious.
    I can polish the glass without picking up the edges now though, so it's cured the peeling problem.

    and a bit of bling

    Back from the Restoration show at the NEC, good show but quite a tiring weekend.

    And Alan on the NSRA committee gave me a cool window sticker;

    if the window stickers do give issues, get the next ones cut in reverse and stick them on the inside.....

    Been a while but a little update. Took the car to Goodwood Race Circuit last weekend for the Retro Rides weekender. Entered the car for some circuit time which was a hoot! Unfortunately the GoPro memory card decided to corrupt the files so no ride along I'm afraid.

    Towed the trailer down and it all behaved well and towed good, might fit a bigger trans cooler as following slow lorries up country lanes got it a bit warm.

    Ragging round the track used 1/4 of a tank of fuel for 6 laps lol!! - approx 6mpg Overcooked it a bit on the first corner of the first lap, tighter than it looked and with an adverse camber, maybe 80mph was a bit fast for it.................had to use the grass & the escape road to get back on the track

    Second session (2 laps per session) & I really put my foot down, think the car did pretty well really as its not really a track car, took it to 110mph but then bottled it as the corners come up a bit fast! overall very pleased that it aquitted itself admirably for a pro street car

    Things I learnt from it - I need an oil cooler!! 290 degrees F in 2 minutes with water at 235f (but did not boil over or even leak) shows that driving high horsepower engines hard produces a huge amount of heat. Lots of research and measuring over the next week then.

    I did get a short video from someones phone sent to me so here it is;
