    ^^^Lol!

    Bit of a shock to me as it does about 20mpg on a run normally. Was worried about running out of fuel (we were warned by the track officials it was the most common reason for being towed back).

    Can you feel the effect of your wing at all on bendy tracks, like steering getting light/twitchy at higher speeds?

    Not really no, car is extremely stable at all speeds - had it up to about 130 so far (almost top speed) and it behaves very well. I think the snowplough front & splitter work well with the rear wing to keep it planted nicely.
    Only real handling issue is understeer, but with 15.5" rear tyres and only 4.5" front ones that's to be expected. The first bend at Goodwood caught me out, tighter than it looks and adverse camber saw me using the grass and the escape road to get back on track - I guess 90mph might have been a bit too fast

    Well that's all rather good then, the car didn't let you down even being out of it's natural habitat, which is a bonus

    BlackPopRacing - Glad to hear you enjoyed your laps around Goodwood.
    (Despite the slight detour via the grass!)

    Your Pop has now joined the long list of great cars that have been on that track over the years.

    Cheers, Paul.

    PS
    I would like to take my own car around there one day.

    Paul, Retro Rides will be doing it again next year, so get booked in for it then.

    Today we went to Costco - nicknamed the £100 shop as you never get out spending less than this.

    Today it got renamed the £1000 shop, cos these were on special offer there........ :o
    £500 cheaper than list price and I'd been thinking about something like this for a bit.

    Got the jack assembled today and after a lot of faffing around I finally got it set to lift the car. Probably would have been easier to jack the car up lol!

    I think once I've made some template blocks and made a couple of mods to them it wll be a lot easier. Problem is the pops chassis is short and not parallel, combined with the low exhaust and short wheelbase means that the lifts do not fit the car very well.

    Video of it once I'd got it sorted;
