    done the exhaust.
cant beat cheap chinese ****e bends.this is out the box from local magnaflow dealer.seams all the ones on ebay are this crap as well.

    rear kickup

and used magnaflow offset mufflers.again pretty awful.
3" system yet theres so much slop in the inlet/outlet i could of stuck 3 1/4" tube into them.bought direct from states.was cheaper to pay shipping/duties than buying from local dealer.mad eh.

bought in collector flanges.2mm oversize bore so couldnt use them.like a nice snug fit with stainless ,plus they dont match any gasket.made my own instead to match a gasket i found

quite tight underneath but it all fits

simplistic front mount direct of the exhaust clamp

    and the rear

and thats it for this year

    hi mate
owner keeps finding more money down the back off his sofa so will be driven home from here.

    hopefully early summer

ill take it up to paint/wiring stage then someone else will prep/ paint it (same colour) and another will rewire it.
it will all be done here ,though once ive finished the fab work ill push it into my other garage and start the next car,in about 3 weeks

I do like your work Wayne, Like the way you rest the exhaust on the bobbins and not hang them which makes more sence.
You seem to buy your exhaust bends in are you loosing money that way rather than bend your own
    Conversational comment Wayne

i cant do thin wall stainless here.
only way to do that would be to buy one of those exhaust bending machines.

i have looked at them but they squash the tube through the bend and i dont like that.i know you dont see it under the car but.....

other thing is sometimes you need to cut through a bend so they need to be continuosly round.you cant join them up if theve been squashed.well i guess you could but i wouldnt.

ideally you would need a mandrell bender, but having seen the size of the one needed for the header bends, ill pass on that, lol.

no money to be lost.im a labour only garage.owner pays for the bends so exhausts are priced according to how many get used.same with stuff like mufflers.their choice if they want 50 quid ones or 200 quid ones.

it works out better for owner price wise.

to give a comparrason on prices.my mate had a single 4 pot header made about 5 years back by local exhaust place.had one muffler straight of header collector flange.all mild steel.£900.rear engined car,so no exhaust pipe

this one came in at £1400 finished including everything.all stainless.would of been cheaper if i could of got it under the axle
