    2nd try at this today.

    first was to mount the battery half under the rear panel but couldnt work out how to cover it nice.

    so done it so its on show.small tube loops are harness mounts

    aaaahhhhh

    dont really do a lot of ally.

    was 1.2mm thick and triying to tack two edges together was a nightmare.as soon as you hit it it opens up.

    did get a few on and welded it solid from underneath.

    if they were steel tubs i would of tacked them with the mig

    edge to edge in that thickness is a **** bag, 90 deg like closing up a fuel tank is ok, clamp it, spot it then just run the torch along to fuse it that's nice. Unlike steel or stainless, you get very little warning that your just going to blast it all away !
