hi scott im 21 also, but with the nasc currently being insured with the nsra insurers classicline. I have got a 100e with a 1500gt pre xflow paying 240 a year. Is your mate on rods n sods?
i believe he saw one of my threads on rods and sods and gave phoned me.
Good call mate, it'll soon pass and you'll have a better car when the time comes.
Good luck Scott, now atleast you'll know what its built with(when you finish), i was tempted to come have a look at pop, but weighed up what i was looking to alter:shake:, and thought too much work so looking for a more bare + stock car:cool:
so not much work has been done as my dad has been doing 4x4 challenge events and putting new ramps in the workshop but the interior is now bare.
Around the doors to keep the trim in, was packed with the stuff that goes around boxes.. the plastic strips then the trim was hammered in with nails
A lot of progess has been made but no pictures to show because i dont have a computer cable on my new phone :/. There is nothing left of the interior, all the floor and center consol and prop shaft tunel is out.
Fuel tank is out along with all the wiring and bonnet, dials and switches
My most recent purchase is a supercharged 3.9 rover which falls in line with the insurance at 21, it also came with stainless steel headers and a newly reconditioned gearbox. I've priced up all the parts i'm going to need and i recon 1500 should pay for everything mechanical and another 1000 to outfit the interior so not too bad
looking good mate hows your wiring going?
Haven't bought a new loom yet, waiting for the underside of the car to be repainted. I'm gonna go for pop browns wiring loom.
Looking good! Like to see young blood into hotrods think I was 21 ,22 when I insured my Model A through classicline which had a rover in and they don't go on engine size it's just on value of the car I payed about £230 for the year which I thought was very good at agreed value of £16k anyway keep up the good work!
