Great work as always. What size of box section you using for the bulk head and floor? I am making my mini rwd but don't want build a chassis so was going to use box section to build the trans tunnel and either box or tube for a rear subframe. What would you recommend using.

using 20x20x 1.5mm erw box for the framing.nice and light and once tinned will be plenty strong enough

That's ERW, electric resistance welded. In other words, seamed tube.

you could use 3mm but youre building a car not a cruise liner

    1.5mm is plenty.

easy to manipulate, light and plenty ok for what im doing, and cheap as chips

    tinwork will be 1.2mm.

a lot will depend on design of framework you go for

oh and dont worry about being seamed tube.

if youre ever in a crash and you manage to say split a seamed tube rollcage or simular youre going to be dead anyway, and will prob collect a darwin arward in the process.
