Coming on nicely, I wondered what had happened to it, haven't seen Scott for a bit.
I remember him buying it, about 1998, was 2 tone blue and had a 2 litre Toyota in it before a 3 litre V6. then painted the BMW blue and white.
I think he only drove it twice, once with each engine lol.
Thats looking great, what front crosmember /struts and steering rack have you used ?

Engine/box sat in place (sitting on xmember) just to get an idea of how much room I have, not a lot at the front or height wise so a few alterations required.
On the back burner for a while as I need to pull the gearbox out of the Devon , something went bang after it stuck in reverse (4 speed toploader).
has there been any progress on this at all?
To bring this upto date. the capri crossmember needed altering alot to get the big sump to fit behind it, this put the steering rack way to far forward, so cut off the mounts and moved them back, rack was then a bit high and gaitors were fouling chassis on lock. Front chassis legs were strenthened with !/8" plate, on top and inside from front to past bulk head then notched for rack clearance.

Bulk head now taken back about 10", so its now flush with the bottom edge of the dash. I didn't want a flat bulkhead so only took away enough to give me the room I needed. (would of been far easier to go flat).
Engine was then sat back in and mounts made for chassis and to block.
