    Project F.E.A.R

    Welcome to Project F.E.A.R;
    ****.Everything.And.Regroup or what ever you what to make out of it.

    Anyway,
    I found this hiding in the back of the garage (been sat untouched for a while) and itís now or never, or so it seems.

    Iím aiming to BIVA this thing.

    Iím going to post some photos and some thoughts to go with them, if you have any input on them that would be great, Iím here to learn and to be honest make this as easy as possible.
    If itís all a bit much or I canít be bothered please feel free to kick me up the arse. This is the last chance before I throw it away and get a camper.
    And weíre offÖ

    Iím wondering what Iíll need to do to the bolts etc on the front end?
    Will it be easier to add a nerf bar set up?

    The lights look to me to be ok where they are, but?

    More laterÖ

    And weíre on to the doors;

    Looking at the hinges they donít stick out too far, but are too sharp for the ball, the catches are a joke, so Iím going to bolt the doors shut and remove the lot. (You can step over them anyway)

    How am I doing?

    yeah I'm interested to watch how you do it.....personally I cant even read instructions on flat pack and assemble,so even if I never biva anything it will help to be more aware of what is needed......ive got a very similar 32 roadster project that's not registered yet but that's at least half a dozen projects away to even start yet lol

    right i'm no expert but hear go`s as for the front end you will need to put some sort of wheel arches on so for ease get some proper fenders (not cycle fenders ) and let / make them go as far forward as you can then it will sort out the suspension bolts running boards to the rear , as for the door hinges they will only need a small radius to pass as for the lock just sink it in to the door . the lights are fine as it`s from the edge of them to the outside of the arch/ side of the car. but the boot caches will need replacing with iva approved ones ( the same as but made from / covered in rubber

    God I know the feeling, it’s taken me 2 years to workout how to post photos on here, so progress may not be fast.

    Ta Neil I’ll have a look, as I’ve started looking there aren’t as many showing as I thought there were going to be.

    Thanks for the input fella,
    Iím going to deep six the hinges, because as well as the radius issues they are not really any good and drop as the door is opened, so 2 birds 1 stone The catches wonít pass the bust test without a bit of beefing up as well soÖ
    Good to hear that Iím right about the light spacing though. The indicators will need replacing, but only because one is knackered, but will be in the same place.
    Yeah Iíll need fenders, but think I will be going bike style as one of my bikes has to live next to the roadster and wonít fit with full fenders and running boards, but more later.
    Again youíre right about the boot latches, but Iíve an idea for them too, more on the later as well.
