Just realised how long it its since I done anything with the ruby. I'm busy with the house and also took up a very time consuming and expensive"ast first" hobby- skydiving.

I had already thought about 2cv engine, but to be honest I have been looking into other chassis options.i think a spitfire would work well similar dimensions, cheap and plenty of them about as full cars with v5. I haven't give up on the ruby chassis yet it just seems a sensible choice top concider others. I could do with a bit of input on this what do you think.

I'll try get down tues biff

I know that one, not enough hours in the day
I used to do a bit sky diving up in Shropshire
Give it up for motorbikes (chops and Harley's) Safer ish,
A triumph chassis is bigger than you think but nice little engine and suspension
Take a look at odgies ideas he has some class ideas

Get a plan in your head and stick to it your ideas will come but do it your way

First time I've had a look at your thread and your thinking of a bike engine for power, have you thought of a Yamaha V max, In line, shaft driven with gearbox in the same unit and you get a great sound from the exhaust.
    Enjoying your thread,

    Jeff
Injection is nice but I'd rather be Blown

I have not seen this thread before, Quite bizarre really, Im doing a 33 7Box saloon, https://www.rodsnsods.co.uk/forum/gar...x-saloon-82368 I have obviously been reading your mind, and have just got myself a Suzuki TL 1000cc twin for the car, Turn it sideways, mount a drive flange off the output and a rubber shock drive off of that, object of that is to take the shock loading of the gearbox, it fits inside the cowl/bonnet of a 7, 135 hp and 100 ft/lbs should make it scoot
