I do like the led’s and thanks for the link but it’s the shape of the light to the bonnet/wing and the appearance of the front of the car. So you are right when you say it could make or break the look of the car.

    Roof work

Before welding up the bulkhead I wanted to finish off the roof frames and to weld them onto the roll bar to give the roof more strength.

    Bulkhead

With the roof in position I cut out the sheet metal for the new bulkhead and then welded in the new panels. I then machine a couple of drain plugs out of round bar and welded them so water can drain from the wiper box.

    Cheers Chris289, comments appreciated.

Just had a look at your Mustang thread, what a nice car, you did some excellent work on the car.

Are you sure you don't know how the body will look? or do you really but are keeping it a secret?

Many thanks, got it in bits again at the minute re-doing the front of the car and engine bay and chaging a few things, will get a project thread up once I have some more work done

What you see is what is happening. Just put in an order for steel to build a body jig and I have just cut out the sides for the English wheel (it’s so nice working with 8mm plate rather than tin foil) and the wife wants the garden sorting (4 ton stones coming tomorrow)

Do get the thread up when ready. I had a 71 Mustang (lots of work) but the 66 notchback is the best looking (to me anyway)
