    Sports Streamliner

    Is it possible to acheive somthing like this (first pic) from one of these (second pic) ? , well I dont know yet, but Im going to try, and do it as a rebody legal wise on a budget of nil, this will proberbly be a long build but its an itch Ive got to scratch...................................

    Are you planning to make the body out of fibreglass or metal?

    Either way, going down the rebody route should give you more options with the design.

    Body will be glass paul over a metal frame, dragged out what I hope will power it, its an oldsmobile 305 smog engine that was good when I parked it a few years back and it still turns ok, just got remember where all the bits are now!

    looks about right, the chassis rails should go up in the body sides almost like side impact protection. can't wait to see this evolve.

    If the Olds engine is the same as a Pontiac (which I believe it is) got a choice of 2 HEI distributors for it (they are exactly the same complete with caps), cheap

    If I remember rightly, that was Mr Tibbs hand built car, with fantastic clam shell boot/bonnet.
    Was destroyed in resent California wild fires.

    Would be perfect for a quick & cheap plaster/vermiculite candidate !!
