Oh, ok. I've seen one's that ratchet all the way up so thought you meant them. All bunched together as one type then.

Sometimes I think about moving out of London, but its not what my wife and I really want to do.
So I'm gonna try and enjoy my truck as much as poss now, and maybe sell it, or swap for something with historic status when ULEZ reaches my street.
I normally find that I'm ready for a change of hotrod after about 10 years anyway, then get renewed enthusiasm with new project.
I may live in East London, I may have a number plate that reads "Chopt", but I do NOT use 6" wheel spacers!

Yes I'd love to start a new project, but disciplining myself to carry on tweaking the truck and enjoying it for now. Best to concentrate on one at at time I reckon!

Ive made the bonnet stay and got rid of the gas rams for good now. Lifting the bonnet manually I notice how heavy it is, but glad to have the gas ram saga behind me now. Simple stuff rarely goes wrong.
I had made panels to cover the bulkhead and hide all the ugly bits, wiper motor etc.
But then I had to remake them to allow the rams to operate, now the rams are gone, Ive redone them, filling the holes with metal then smoothing, and today put on some primer. With a brush. Well at least I got plenty on there so can sand ready for paint.

And heres it some time ago with the cut outs for the rams.

Came across some old footage of when I was just starting to build this. Yes this is the same vehicle!

Quality is poor cos I found old DVD which was a copy from camcorder, Ive just filmed it with my phone.

Winter is not the best time for spraying, so I rigged up the feed to the compressor so it took warm dry air from inside the house, with the dehumidifier going too

My garage has insulation in the roof, with a small electric heater it got up to 16degrees.
    Squirted some paint on.

And the bottom of the bodywork had to be cut to allow enough ground clearance for it to be driveable, this was done after it had been painted, so at the time I just put more paint on at the bottom with a roller! So now trying to improve on this.

Question: How long after spraying should I wet sand it and polish?
