i'd say we need a mockup front 'bit' to see the size/height of the grill before commenting as to whether the current seat height is about right visibility wise.
need a job done on your project? i may be able to help.

Looks great to me Paul , steering wheel needs to come towards you a fair bit on the same axis and inclination ,just extend the column up ..

i worked out that one has the top rim about face level .

that ellipse gubbins is fascinating and makes a lovely graduated curve .

    massive progress!!

    looks like a car .

    regards

No problems , though ought to get firewall/steering column sorted then position of steering box can be looked at when you are here to remove drag link.

    Couple of updates ?

just wood and cardboard at present , looking for the shape as it where...

Steering wheel now in original position , although seat is approximately 4" lower than one in Sherpa

    Front with it's curve..

and eye level view from drivers seat , hard to tell what I can see here as drive slopes off into cul-de-sac and curves off to left so no real perspective like if it was parked on a straight road next to kerb with a white line down the centre of road ?

    So couple of observations ?

Large grey bonnet side to big and needs breaking up ?

First I will reduce it's height by 2" and try a taller ellipse that should help and plenty of air on the engine side

On passenger side probably some air holes like these and maybe the flap also ?

probably mount the spare on the joint between the bonnet sides [ grey ] and the cardboard where the body side will be , area between firewall and dashboard.

Also may have to have door this side .

Want drivers side to be busy like this :-

but only have exhaust outside if I can route the real exhaust through it , I don't want the whole car to be full of ' fake ' stuff although it won't be genuinely old it will be in the style off ...

though I could call it MI-AS Special ? Made In A Shed ?

    regards Paul
