    i would guess you guys all know about the rover v8 moggy from the 80's cant remember the name but was a famous one that was white with blue roof? - just found it nic Mann

    that had wide arches and looked very good but now looking at the pictures the arches aren't stretched

    0-60 in 3 secs, 7:1 CR and 28 psi boost with single turbo and blow thro SU's. Is that the one :-D

    Jon, just found a feature on your motor when Ryan owned it, never noticed it was stretched before. Quite subtle.

    The reason the rear track looks narrower is an optical illusion and that fact that the body is only plopped on and not on straight.

    Guy, yes it was, beer soon defo. I must pop round and see your new place (well old place now)

    Jeff

    No problem, glad you like what's happening

That's not to mention working on the engine that's surrounded by bulk head. The stretch idea with a F*** off exhaust exit coming out of it would look much better by far.If I dare say one more thing, I think minors look better with standard wings too as opposed to fat. I am sorry for going on about what I like so much, I just thought I'd stick my ten penneth in being as everybody else was!
    I love the idea of mounting a different body onto the TVR chassis,it will be so cool when it's done. Best of luck with the project

    mr fozwanger, im glad to see more progress with it, it looks awesome on them rims.

    have you thought of cutting the wings straight down the centre and widening them so the lines still flow right?

    looking forward to popping up and seeing it in a couple of weeks

    I wondered what happened to that body. I think I saw it on the HAMB a few years ago, on a thread about chopping moggies. Glad to see it is going to good use.....

    cool project ,
    as the owner of a 4.0 v8 tvr chimaera {exactly the same chassis as the griffith one you have }
    i would not alter the wheelbase or geometry of the chassis at all ,its what makes em great handlers and fun ,

    moggy with hot rod look that goes and handles like a big hairy go kart ,best of all worlds .keep it up

    I'm thinking about stretching the front wings and having the exhaust exit through them betwwen the arch and the door. There'll be plenty of room
    that looks good mate
