well there been some more progress its getting close now 8-) fitted the 8.8" mustang rear along with the 10x17 polished torque thrust II's, had to make a completely new trans tunnel as the the gearbox was making contact with it in lots of places due to the engine being moved back and i needed to make room for the exhaust as i wanted to tuck it up so i can get the car to sit right . just waiting a few last bits to arrive before I can fire it up . I got the rest of the injection wiring fitted and working as well as getting the dash fitted and some of the bits fitted in the dash and working switch gear some of the gauges ect

small update for today fabricated a new trans cross member for it due to the tunnel now being a totally different shape to how it was shouldn't break this one in a hurry

and gave it a quick coat of satin black paint

started on the fuel lines engine bay side of then are now done but i under estimated how many 6an fitting i had versus how many i actually needed few more now on order
not to much left to do before its up and running

Your making a brilliant job of this and I wanted to ask without looking stupid ,did the engine start out as a 302 Ford. It looks like a Ford engine to me but I couldn't find it written in the thread to confirm it.I guess it wasn't necessary because everybody except me knows but please tell me!!!!! Thank you

i also put in an order for a new bigger fuel pump to go with the bigger injectors i fitted when building the engine which tuned up yesterday from summit racing which is more than can be said for the order i put in at the same time 18th june for the new shocks and springs from a well known ford performance shop here in essex after emailing them to find out where said order had got to found out they don't have the parts in stock contrary to what the web site said and that it will be about a 4 week wait needless to say i told them to poke it as i need the parts sooner than that lesson learnt won't be using them again anyway the car now runs much better i think i may have created a monster
