    weight loss Darren West

    well as per other thread
    i have decided to attempt to loose some weight before christmas
    unfortunately i have put almost all back on that i lost earlier in the year

    for me i have decided to count calories my daily target will be 2,000 to start with
    im ashamed to admit im at 17st 3
    so my christmas target is 15.st 7

    ill post here weekly how im getting on
    please anyone who fancies joining me start your own thread and this will help you keep track

    Nice one mate, its harder than people might think but can be easier with the right foods obviously enough.... Ive found the worst things are crisps and semi skimmed milk, of which I love both in vast quantities.... Neither are helping me with my celebrity body look, unfortunately at the moment it seems to be Jeremy Clarkson..!!

    This idea might help...

    Diet was a four letter word to me - until recently.

    I will not bore you with details, but for various health reasons / problems, I have had to become 'food aware' , rather than eating what I want (like before).

    Aside from trying to cut down Sugar intake - my Mrs put me onto a 'fasting' regime - which (now I am in the habit) has helped with weight loss.

    Basically, you eat NOTHING between the hours of 8 PM right through to Midday. That's a 16 hour 'fast' - but you're asleep half of that anyway.

    The body starts to work off 'stored' fat - and instead of ingesting carbs & fat (e.g : buttered toast) - you just drink liquids (Tea / Coffee / Water).

    It works / helps, trust me. And a surprisingly easy habit to get into.
