Weight Loss or maybe Gain Kev ( a.k.a. Yella F100 )

Just like Darren I have also gained all the weight I lost over the last year I started at 14s 7 lbs and got down to 13s 8lbs not following any strict diet plan but just trying to eat a bit healthier and cut out the crap.
I am now back at 14s 7lb and really notice the extra weight just doing simple daily stuff compared to a year ago when I was a stone lighter.
So I am up for it I can't be arsed to count calories so will do a weekly weigh in and post up the results.
My goal is to be 13s 7 lbs by christmas so I can pig out and put it all back on again by the new year.

P,S I think my love of alchohol and food is hindering my weight loss

Had my Friday night weigh in and I tipped the scales at 14s 5lbs so I have somehow lost 2lbs this week so well chuffed with that, in fact so pleased I treated myself to a kebab.

P.S. Anybody else use a fitbit ? the wife got me and some of our family members one last Christmas and we are all linked up so we can see each others results and it does drive a bit of healthy competition as to who does the most steps, its normally me with over 10,000 steps pretty much every day just shuffling around at work and this Thursday I clocked up 18,000 a good fun way to get some motivation.

    Nothing to report this week

Just had my weigh in and tipped the scales at 14s 5lbs exactly the same as last week

Not a great result but at least I have not gained anything.

Muscle fibre is heavier than fat so converting starts you in the wrong
    direction.
I have a fitbit but prefer Strava on my phone -doing the Worcs 10k tomorrow.

    Makes no sense to me
I fell off the wagon this week big style and had a chinese, a breakfast roll from a burger van, a mc donalds, and a sausage roll , and even some biscuits, along side all my healthy food the wife does for me so was dreading the weigh in this week.
But I lost 1lb so now sitting at 14s 5lb.
Mind you I have clocked up 73,000 steps in six days which is around 30 miles this week so maybe thats got something to do with it.

My tip for weight loss; eat less...……………………………..

Honestly sounds a bit crass, but without dieting (but excluding from consumption) all chocolate and donuts and cakes, and replacing with low fat/sugar snack bars, over 6 months I've lost 2 stone; I've done a ton of exercise which at best tones up the muscles, and any direct weight loss is perspiration, and will be replaced by your body.

Smaller portions of normal food, and no eating after your tea 6-7 o clock, as that energy doesn't get used up looking a re - runs on discovery!
Just a passer by as you might say.

I'd agree with that. We bought slightly smaller plates so that a full plate visually is still less food than we used to eat! Rather than making a pan of Bolognese with a pound of mince and just dumping it out on plates until it looks right, I portion it out onto the two plates and into two bowls for the following night or bags for freezing.
