Having a bit of a clearout and came across this shirt and jacket that I believe were worn by the crew at this show. I bought them many years ago from a dealer, NSRA Billing I think?

I had my '40 Chevy sedan (top left of pic) at that show, great event, very US style with the layout, wished there were indoor shows like that still about.

I remember you not remembering Mo, what was the name of the diner at Meadowhall where the party was? I've got photos too, but a cattled scanner. I remember the Swedes brought some top flight motors, the Mondello Willys was a favourite.
How'd the weekend go? Well, at the moment it looks like a dolphin that's been caught in a boats propeller.

I suppose that I must have supplied the Jackets and Shirts but I can't remember, we used to take the BFGoodrich truck with the inflatable on the roof. I remember Bry lending me his Vicky to go on a cruise and having a bottle of Rebel Yell (I havn't seen any in the UK for years) under the table in the Rock Island Diner.

I remember most of the steel city members moaning before the first show that we were "free labour " for Paul Haugh (who would be making a fortune !) Well Paul didnt retire early ,and he gave Sheffield some great Hotrodding history, and some fantastic memories for all of us ,fabulous days ,Bry

WoW! hav'nt seen this thread before, when was this? as an earlier poster says this has a very US style about it, why did it only run for 2 years--questions,questions--I get the feeling this sort of show would be extremly popular if it could be run again.
Does anyone know who owned the Superbird? It looks very much like my old mates,Paul Mimmack from Blackpool.
Also the conv GTX looks like the one I went to Donnington in the only year Notts Americana was held there.
Never seen that white 32(? not a hot rod man so year may be wrong) the one with the 'warbird' paint job on. Where the do all these past cars go to? have we got an unknown fkn Bermuda triangle in this Country!! Any answers appriciated

Olly, I don't know about the Mopars, well I wouldn't would I but I think the Rod was Swedish. There were some interesting and different Scandinavian cars there every year. I really like the 'War Bird' paint scheme, Frank had a plan to do one on the '57. Why weren't you there Olly, it's almost your neck of the woods?
