How'd you know about that ? It was actually Geoffs old mans car that he was let loose on. From our chats it appears it didn't and neither did the Phil Ritchie one from the same time.

I think Maurice had some pics of the Phil Ritchie one, possibly at the Hyde Park show ?

It was mentioned in one of the early episodes of Geoffs articles that were run in the Gasser.

There were photos of Phil Ritchies Zephyr in a write up he did for Hot Rod & Custom Uk.
How'd the weekend go? Well, at the moment it looks like a dolphin that's been caught in a boats propeller.

Here's Phil Ritchie's dad's Zephyr from HR&C June '82. It turned up at the B.H.R.A. 2nd Rod & Custom Show held in the newly built Hyde Park underground carpark in 1964. It wasn't in the show but was parked outside with Keith Abrehart's Morris 8 hot rod. There were two other Mild Kustom Mk1 Zephyr/Zodiacs at the time one was Vic Outen's and the other Bob Rothwell's

I was a member of UK Kustoms for some time and heard about it through that source. Kustoms have always been my main leaning since I was a kid and I'm even more passionate about them as the years roll on, so naturally I'm curious about our own early interpretations. Shame that they aren't about as it would have been simply wonderful to have them intact for us Kustom fiends.

Geoffs was befinned to modernise it . I'm not sure if Andy Stanhope got any pictures of it as he spent a long time researching the early history of kustoms in this country but it was closely woven with early hot rod scene for obvious reasons.

Dave, when were you in UKK ? I should know you if it was the earlier days it's got to have been going for 15/16 years now ?

This Cresta is a Jago one, according to HOT CAR 1980.
