George Foulger, very early Rodder & stock car driver

[B]....... I was very sad to hear that George Foulger had passed away in a nursing home, I have very fond Hot Rod memories of George & loved his Stock car stories . He was one of the first Brit pioneers of hot roddin in the days when you had to make all your own parts. He gave me a set of properly reversed Chevy wheels for my Coupe , at that time I had fitted 15" Jag wheels on the rear of my 34 Morris 10/4 but I thought reversed wheels were fitted back to front I didn`t know in those days that you took the rim out & reversed it., so we had a good laugh about that & many other things about early roddin in the U.K. Im sure he will be sadly missed....R.i.p George....Your Hot Rod mate Bri. Hi Dan....I heard the 32 3 Window went to Australia, the 32 Cabro is in Arizona USA & is still owned by the guy who purchased it in U.K. I think he was a mate of George`s. My 32 5 Window is in Costa Mesa & is still owned by Chicago John who fitted an Ardan OHV flathead conversion........

Thanks for this. Greatly appreciated. To cut a long story short George was my Great Uncle and now he has unfortunately passed away I thought it would be nice to try and track them down but unfortunately this doesn't look possible if they have gone overseas. Thanks again.

Thank you very much for posting these pictures. Seen a few pictures of his works. Now to just find one of his cars if there is one still knocking around somewhere. .

Yeah they are the ones. Thanks Bob. Would love to know where they are now but unfortunately going to be like a needle in a hay stack. Wouldn't even know where to start. Someone given me a lead on Puddlejumper, apparently in a garage somewhere in Essex but only a rumour. .

If you ever get anymore information on anything Bri would be lovely if you could send me a message as would love to see one in the flesh and potentially purchase one.
