AWESOME PICS AGAIN MR BUCKET, I PARTICULARLY LIKE THE DETLING ONES AS I WAS AT THEM ALL, A LOT OF YOUR PICS ARE INCREDIBLY SIMILAR TO SOME I'VE GOT SOMEWHERE, I ALSO HAVE A FEW WHERE THEM BLOODY WOMEN WITH THERE ARSES HANGING OUT OF THEIR SHORTS KEPT GETTING IN THE WAY!... ANYWAY SORRY TO DO IT AGAIN BUT I LIKE TO TRY & SUS ALL THIS HISTORY ESPECIALLY THE SHOWS I WENT TO & I HAVE CONCLUDED THAT THE DETLING PICS ARE FROM 2 DIFFERENT YEARS UNLESS OF COURSE WINSTONS ROVER WAS TOP COATED AT THE SHOW AS IT APPEARS IN THE PICS IN PRIMER & BURGUNDY TOPCOAT!
EXCELLENT PICS, KEEP ON POSTING ......
Some great pictures there.
Here's a couple more of the Rapier.
Norfolk 'n' good but Suffolk 'n' what.
Anybody no how many years the Rapier was out
Never knew it was red/orenge to mopar mentioned it.
The rapier was called cosmic canary, the picture shows it coming to rest at north weald facing the wrong way,ie towards the start line.
1984! Bloody hell Al, who is that young man!
I think this was about the second or third place I took the Devon, no side trim, borrowed front seats from Ian Stewart as I was still upholstering mine, and sitting miles high with the hood open!
Thanks for that its the only pic I have ever seen from that show and I forgot where it was.
Glad you like it Dave. You must be bored, this thread is over a year old!
How'd the weekend go? Well, at the moment it looks like a dolphin that's been caught in a boats propeller.
No not bored Al, I look at Google image section every so often to see what Devon/Dorset pics there are about.
The red MK1 Zephyr, formerly Brian Bruce's now lives up our neck of the woods, or at least it did 9 months ago. I last saw it getting a re paint (same colour) and new engine in a garage in Openshaw, Manchester.
