    Pickup Conversions

    You don't see many nowadays but back in the 70's/80's they used to be very common. I'm talking about pickups converted from estates or saloons or vans.
    I guess that there are more pickups available now and early American stuff is surfacing all the time.
    Anyway I 'm talking about this type of thing, lets see your pictures from the early days of pickup conversions

    I owned a mk2 cortina pickup a long time ago.... alegedly built from a 1600gt estate... looked ok. will try and find a pic

    Cavalier pick up i knocked together purely as a promotional vehicle for a banger track i used to work at, ended up weighing it in as i had no other use for it when the track closed!
