oh hell, another one bites the dust, at least we know now though...

Heres a few more very 70s styled motors at the chelmsford club show, though we are actually stepping into the 80s here...june 29to to be precise!, this show- for anyone who knows chelmsford was in the kings head meadow over the old rickety wooden bridge, always remember being frightened when we went over that in dads morris oxford which is pictured on the left, as can be seen the hub caps had been removed & i ended up painting the wheels cream with 5 black paintmarks on them so they looked like wolfies from a distance, incidentally the building on the left is the old odeon where i went to see Adam & the Ants & Japan circa 82!, but thats another story .....enjoy

Escort hubcap on the diff with the red light shining on it was a serious upgrade!!!!,
got pulled by the old bill once as i had a white light shinig down onto the chromed Jag rear on my pop, the reflection of the chrome gave the impression of a white light shining from the rear lol.

(YOU CAN ALSO SEE ONE OF THE CHELMSFORD GASTANKS BEHIND HIM WHICH ARE STILL THERE TODAY!)....THEN STAYING IN THE KINGS HEAD MEADOW WE HAVE 149 KM, A VERY 70S STYLE PONTIAC? (I THINK!) COMPLETE WITH WHEELY BARS SIDEPIPES FLARES AND A HUGE BONNET BULGE, THINK THERES ANOTHER PIC TO COME OF THAT.... THEN WE HAVE A SLOT MAG SHOD CAMARO TFV 828J SITTING IN A SIDESTREET IN STOCK NEAR BILLERICAY IN 1980, (WHENEVER I WENT OUT WITH MY PARENTS ON A WEEKEND I NORMALLY TOOK MY CAMERA WITH ME FOR SUCH MOMENTS OF AUTOMOTIVE EXOTICA!) ......THEN LASTLY WE GO TO DUXFORD, ITS THE 15TH OF JUNE 1980 & THERES WHAT LOOKS LIKE A DODGE CHARGER? AGV 525S? THROBBING IN THE QUEUE..

Barry 'Hillbilly' Wiltshire in beard looking out of doorway in 1st photo (not 'mooning'
Brian Wiltshire (his twin brother) at the rear and to the right of doorday of second photo. Used to be known as Barry & Brian 'Hill Billies' because they came from Hill Crescent in Hornchurch and 'cos they lived a Hill Billy existance - used to have many interesting cars though - moved out to Suffolk 20+ years ago - where are they now?
