    Some very recent pics (not mine) - Car Graveyard - a set on Flickr

    The yard's very run-down and looks to have been broken into numerous times and I think there was a fire a while back.

    BTW when I first visited, the son Steve was an alright guy. Hardly see anyone working there now. Most old buildings round the place have been pulled down and new houses have been built around it. Can't believe it's still there! I once saw a large turquoise Yank parked outside. A '55 Ford, I recall. Most side and front trim was removed including hubcaps but the body and paintwork looked in ok condition.

    not sure if you mean monty,s at mildenhall just down the road from the us airbase my old mate carl & myself used to go there a lot buying cars & parts monty was a very nice old guy loved to talk & would let you wander around all day we bought a 64 corvair out of there pulled it out from under a tree washed it off with ajax & towed it home to strood in kent on a tow rope got it running the next morning heres a picture of one of the last cars to come out of there before he died 390gta i think we paid about 400 quid for it cheers RAY in sf

    Remember going to look through the avenues of trees looking for a 'useable' car - guy in yard insisted on accompaning me round the yard (understandable enough) and then promptly decided to take a leak in front of me - didn't go too frequently after that!
