I wonder if they would later on consider that a loophole in the law, and ban the sale of reconditioned engines.

    Dam right!!

Tell you what mind I just looked at commuter emotorbikes and they look fine! Stylish and zippy, Sizeable lift out battery to charge indoors. When they drop in price I can do my bit

Reading about deep sea exploration/mining today. They are planning on mining the deep sea bed for minerals and precious metals for electric car production.

David Attenborough is appalled at the potentially devastating eco destruction as we have no idea of the consequences of pumping millions of tons of silt from 3 miles down into the surface of the oceans.

The UK's Electric Car targets will use twice the current Cobalt world production alone - so the end of the petrol car is not quite as given as the world is led to believe. Electric cars will not be so eco friendly if we have to rape & destroy yet another eco system to produce them.

Let's hear Greta's comments on that shall we?

not about green its about making money there are so many other ways but evs make business more money solar concave mirrors concentrated on one point in deserts producing superheated steam turbine pr0ducing electricity, electrolysis producing hydrogen compressed burn it in internal combustion engine produces water. yes has to be high pressure as hydrogen lacks the energy of hydro carbons but will still work, hydrogen explodes and hindenberg arguments occur have you seen lithium batteries go off ...... its all about making money
