Q reg on a classic question

I know some classics years ago were given Q reg when you cannot prove the year of manufactured. But with todays technology its become easyer to find things out history. So my question is if you have a Q reg will DVLA look at it again if you send support letters say from a car club to help get a age related plate.Or is the Q there forever. If its a model were they did not make many i dont think Q reg looks in keeping with a historical vehicle. Is there a form to apply to DVLA and thank you keep safe.

STRICTLY you only had 12 months in which to request a review of a Q ( issued due to lack of proof of age only) . However they have been open to requests to remove IF suitable proof is available. Best to ring K&R division, once they are all back at work, to ask what they'd like to see
