    Rat Rod

    Have just purchased a 1979 reliant scimmitar the body has already been changed to a 1932 ford 1/2 ton pick log book hasn't been changed where do I go from here

    to have it registered as a 32 pickup, there should have been pics taken of the reliant with the standard body from a couple of angles showing the reg of the reliant, then pics of body off, with reg plates then new body on from a couple of angles with reg plate showing, also no cutting of the chassis, it would have to be done as a body swap with dvla….

    Do I keep it registered as a reliant and apply for a body change and how do I go about this

    As mentioned above I purchased the vehicle with the body already changed and no photos of original car or rolling chassis

    maybe you need to get another reliant that's complete and start again …...

    i would guess you need to either

    a, try your luck and tell them whats happened
    b, at very least take the body off and send them pics of the rolling chassis , and the completed pick up
    c, get another scimitar and get photos that way
