Hi All, Thought i best put this one up as well. The Chevy Pick-up (1949 i think) is Bob's own truck and the woman in the footage is Terri (bob's wife) the location stuff was filmed around Duxford near where Bob lives. The name Cherry Pie on Bob's truck is also the title of another JRS track. The boys never did their own video for this track, but i did find this home made one from Viva Las Vegas. Cheers. Russ.
Hi All, This track was recorded at The Valley Gas Speedshop. The boys having a bit of fun at the Rockabilly Rave. This is a link to their My Space site. Plenty of info, gig dates etc. http://www.myspace.com/jackrabbitslimuk This is their video for the first track they performed on the radio show. Hairdos and Heartaches. Cheers. Russ.

Hi Gary, If i remember correctly REM is the first record played after the interview ends, so i think you might have missed part of the interview somehow as it runs for approx 40 mins and i didn't post it up until 20.04h. Sorry, correction runs for 32 mins. Cheers. Russ.

Hi Gary, I will sort out a couple of links shortly. If you listen to the whole of the show you will probably find the rest of the interview quite interesting. The major plus is you can have it playing on the i player in a different window and carry on surfing Rods n Sods at the same time. (which i am doing at the moment as i am writing this post.) Cheers. Russ.
Nice one Russ Russ, link works well, nice interview and music, put some dates up,or is there a website etc.? ...and just noticed the BBCiplayer volume goes up to 11! Gary.
Nice one Russ
Jack Rabbit Slim Live on BBC Radio Hi All, Last night (Friday) Jack Rabbit Slim were live on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire. They were on the radio for approximately 40 mins, which consisted of an interview which was worked around 4 of their tracks from their new album, 2 tracks were played straight from the disc and the other 2 were performed live in the studio. The music was not what i would call Rockabilly and would probably please many people that like music from other genres. I have put a link on to the show (BBC i player) they start playing around 1h 17min into the show and finish at approximately 2h into the show. As most people on the site probably know by now i do have a vested interest as my brother Landon is the Double Bass player. Please give it a whirl and see what you think. Just follow the link, when it loads press play then slide the slider along till approx 1h 17m. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...nt_12_02_2010/ I hope the link works ok. Cheers. Russ.
