Sunshine is a great Wednesay night out when the weather is warm. Sit in the stands with a cold Bud or do a few passes. When I had my '68 Mustang here in Fla I foolishly did a few passes, third pass the prop twisted its self to destruction. The help was great, a Flatbed brought it home for 50 bucks! I went to Sunstate Mustangs for another prop, he already knew and fixed me up, he also gave me some advice, he was 40 years too late!
This has got me off my ass I'll go next Wednesday and take some pics!
Best of luck this weekend Wayne!

We raced a rental at Sunshine and Desoto the same week , went a couple of rounds in the street class , I think it was Alamo we had some kind of Mercury (Ford Orion).
We tried to get something more suitable from Ugly Duckling Car Rental , the guy made excuses to us saying he didnt have anything with a V8 in
I think our "Garlits" t-shirts gave it away , and the fact that we only needed it for Friday and Saturday night

Yes Crabby's is still there, they have had a quiet couple of years but seem to be getting back. We went there about a month ago, it was OK. As you say a great place for kids!

We both ended up trashed on many occaisions, how he never cut his hand off I don't know. We went to watch him race a School Bus one night, Crabby's gave him a few bucks for gas so he painted it green with stenciled red crabs all over it. It was Redneck central, we loved it.
The shopping centre where you saw the car show was over the street at Dolphin Village perhaps.
