    You can also, using a thin funnel, pour a little fuel down the vent tube of the bowl to prime it after its been sitting a while saving cranking it

    I think there's also an advantage to using an electric pump over a mechanical one in a car that's not driven every day.

    I've used both types of Facet in that sort of situation with no problems. The little solid state is surprisingly good...I had one feeding 6 Webers and it was fine when driven hard.

    Cheers Mike, Only problem is it hasnt got a stock mech pump as its a '89 efi motor but i've stripped the efi off and putting a carb on top

    The stock mechanical is all you need for a mild 302 with a 600 cfm Holley.

    Hey guys,

    Any ideas as to which fuel pump will be best suited to a 302ci sbf in standard tune with a 600 cfm holley carb?

    Its goin in the escort gasser when I can finally get the bugger out the garage an in the workshop!! And is there an advantage to using say the facet interupter over the solid state?
