    thanks for the kind words

Hi Colin, yeah, the Consul can look dinky in certain contexts lol
The Caddy rear lights and more sleek windscreen surround now makes the car less squashed, longer and lower

Gonna put the tinsel on and do a festive cruise round the doors

Juat realised the first few pages photographs have dropped off! They were on a seperate storage supplier so will restore.

Howdy, yeah, I sent in a couple of readers rides stories years ago and the car was featured twice

A few years back when it was back on the road at the NASC Nats debut CC left a card to feature it
but I didn't think the interior was finished/up to scratch lol still aint.

I have done a couple of mods since then, namely a sign writing job on the rear panel by Tootall Paul
    when he was on tour
    Tootall pinstriping - Pinstriping

My influence is obviously American Graffitti as 82 (ish) was a great era for the British custom scene and the Chelsea Cruise.
I know the 70s were probably more really groovy but it don't rhyme.

If I could spring for it I will have a cruise muriel done behind the removeable number plate
Small Fry, Henry Hirise, 11DYN 55 Chevy Hirider, Baldy van, Saunders boat, etc, etc

Next up was to replace the shagged out bumpers.
Repairing and rechroming existing at way over a grand wasn't
gonna happen so got the lovely stainless steel repops off ebay.
Aint got the lustre of chrome but went on ok and very happy.

Had to redo a grill bar and laquer them all again after the demon rust appeared.
Doing ok for 5 year old shower tubes in a damp garage!

This winter, I WILL do the interior
Rear axle off and repaint, fiddle with rose joints and update steering.
