if the truck is a non servo truck then you don't need one. just a suitable master cylinder and you'll be fine. the pedal ratio will be correct for non servo operation already.

    Thanks for the reply.
I'm pretty sure the front disks are from standard, I need to speak to my mate who's doing the rear disk
Conversion, but I'm pretty sure he would have used an older uk brake parts for the rear.
Does this mean I'll have problems due to mixing USA and Uk parts together?

The master cylinder needs to be the correct bore to work 4 wheel disc brakes and America calipers are BIG bore . I'm afraid you need a proper size Yanks cylinder to make it work .
However if you have used non Yank rear calipers then it's possible that the m/c you have will still work ( assuming it was a disc drum set up from standard) .

Disk conversion to pick up, what brake booster / servo can I use?

Hi Guys & Gals, thanks for reading.

I've got a 1966 Chevy C10, she has front disks and I've now fitted rear disks on her.

I now have the task of sorting a brake booster / master cylinder / servo.
I can buy one from the states, but they are around 200 when they arrive in the UK.

Years ago, I thought I read an article about someone using an Subaru wrx brake servo and master cylinder on his pick up! But I'm not 100% sure the Subaru one will work?
The Subaru servo is small in diameter, that's why I'm thinking I read this.

Dose anyone know of a servo I Can buy here in the uk that will work ? Or of a servo
I can modify to make work?

Money is a little tight, I'm sure there's something in the UK I can make work.

    Thanks again for your time.

    Regards Tyler smp
