    We have fitted the earlier column, but we can't mount the indicators. The later column has provision for these and my mate wants to fit the early wheel to the later column.

    You need a split screen Minor one, woodruff key as standard and will bolt in to the later ones
    I might have a spare from the Wife's Minor, I will have a look.

    Easiest way is to bastadise the two columns to make one that works for youre needs.

    I do this quite a bit,but usually at the lower end to match u/j splines.

    Ideally you need to machine them down in a lathe then weld up

    '70 Morris Minor Streeing column

    My mate has a '70 Minor with a splined top bit, but wants to fit a banjo wheel that has a woodruff key mount. Whats the best way to achieve this?

    Im thinking to cut the top off the old column and get it welded to the newer one, but what are the dimensions we need to do the cutting?

    ....or is there a better way?

    Your input will be invaluable, as always!

    By the way, he's mullered the existing column, so has anyone got one that we can pick up at Wheels Day, and what price?
