well i have news i got the engine fired up this morning at 9:05 and at 9:45 it was still running at 85 degrees with little pressure in the hoses i only had 45 min till my first appointment but I'm chuffed so far before it would boil up after 15 mins down side :town: ive lost the mixture screw from the holley some how so its a bit lumpy

of course the same is true of the engine driven cooling fan!!!!!!! ie serpentine fans go the wrong way so vibrate and aren't efficient ,stalling in reverse neil
It was you then Neil It took me ages to work it out. It does actually pump to a degree, but the fans are keeping it cool, so not ideal. Ive got another I bought off a super gentleman on here, still need to fit it.
twas me ,they dont pump too well going backwards....and no too obvious unless you think to check,or have another to compare against..... neil
