Spent 8 years restoring a 60 Impala, lovely cars with a real good parts-supply back up, but prices are climbing. A good site to join is Chevy Talk - Chevy / Chevy Message Boards for the Chevy Enthusiast

Well I've owned my 59 Impala Sport Coupe for 25 years now so kind of know them very well. But to save boring everyone to tears on here if you want to ask questions etc feel free to send me a PM.

Hey, So today I accompanied my old man to a Consul Classic and Capri Autojumble in Great Leigh in Essex (27/04/14) and met a guy with a beautiful 1959 Chevrolet El Camino, to which I drooled over for a long while. After watching him turn the engine over and see the after-market air ride suspension do it's thing I asked some questions and he pointed me in the direction of you guys. I love Chevrolet Impalas, Bel Airs and El Camino's and am just intrigued as to if there are any owners out there or anyone who shows any such models (anything 50's and 60's) or are currently restoring or have restored any. If anyone has any information I would be greatly appreciative. One day I will own such a vehicle! Haha!

    Many Thanks,

    Shaun.
