They went with the car when it was sold many years ago. I didn't own or drive it, I just twirled the spanners. It had a head that was developed by Blydenstein, special cam and a 2 speed manual box (3rd & 4th) and the Diff out of a Bedford CF that was somewhere between 4-5:1 . It was all set up as a roundy, roundy short oval car. It was a VX490 shape Ventura with Granada front clip (can't remember why we had that?)

We used to race a 3.3 back in the '70's with triple 45DCOE webers. The manifolds as far as I remember were a modified BMC fitment. Triumph maybe?? I remember they were a real pain in the arse to get right.

Vauxhall 3.3 triple carb set up

Has anyone here fitted triple carbs to a Vauxhall 3.3 straight six motor? If so, what inlet manifold did you use? What mods did it need? What carbs did you use? How much extra power did you get?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Cheers - Jez
