    On the T5s the bearing is designed to be pre-loaded,after some more bleeding and setting the pre-load i now have gears.
    There is plenty of leverage at the clutch fork without preload you would never get the T5 twork.

    If you want the bearing to last, you should have clearance rather than pre-load.

    T5 conversion clutch doesnt engage help needed

    I have done the hydraulic clutch conversion T5 trans on my 67 mustang using cnc master/slave
    my problem im getting the clutch fork travel well over an inch but i cant engage the clutch,the bearing is touching the the fingers on the pressure plate before i press the clutch.
    How much pre-load can i actually have the on the release bearing?
