    RE the Royce engine;
    With an engine that is that strong but mild in HP would that not be a good candidate for a super charger?
    I'm no expert but it would certainly look the MUTTs

    And I do love those Galaxies

    There were 'hot' Galaxies produced in '66 to give you some inspiration

    I've had some previous dablings with some Shadows. They might not have much HP for their size but its the torque thats a killer. I know a fella that is an accredited RR garage and I have been round there looking underneath them on ramps Everything is super duty. The half shafts are massive but he showed me one that had been twisted by an over enthusiastic owner!!
    Personally I have this hankering to go the opposite and do a Shadow with a roof chop and lowered with a BBC and blower. Mmmm
    Used to drive my late father in laws Shadow around some 30 years or so ago - even had a set of Generals on it (not NOT Grabbers) - used to 'pop' the occasional smoky wheelspin every now and then - until I did a drive shaft in!
