    Like the jacking system, but agree on music. I tend to listen to R4 or Jazz FM, otherwise I to work in time to music, which isn't always wise.

    With the car safely up on the lifts I got underneath to clean off the mud from the previous weekend show. Tooke the rear wheels off to give them a good scrub and also to get to the rear wheel arches to was all the mud off the painwork inside the arches and to clean the rear axle.

    Discovered an oil loak on the nearside half shaft bearing seal, so the halfshaft will be coming out in the next day or two to sort that out.

    Also finally found the air leak on the drivers rear tyre, taking that into the tyre fitters tomorrow to get the bead broken so I can get into the inside of the rim to seal the bolt that fills the inner tube hole in the rim (I run tubeless tyres) as that is where the slow leak is.

    Raditor is also out to get a deeper core fitted - currently a 3 core but going to a 4 core as although it keeps the engine nice & cool it uses the electric fan more than I would like and if I am going to fit an oil cooler in front of it combined with the bigger trans cooler then it needs to be upgraded.

    Got the jack assembled today and after a lot of faffing around I finally got it set to lift the car. Probably would have been easier to jack the car up lol!

    I think once I've made some template blocks and made a couple of mods to them it wll be a lot easier. Problem is the pops chassis is short and not parallel, combined with the low exhaust and short wheelbase means that the lifts do not fit the car very well.

    Video of it once I'd got it sorted;

    Today we went to Costco - nicknamed the 100 shop as you never get out spending less than this.

    Today it got renamed the 1000 shop, cos these were on special offer there........ :o
    500 cheaper than list price and I'd been thinking about something like this for a bit.
