the earlier 429/460 blocks had a 10.300"/10.310" deck height and later blocks were 10.322" so you probably have a later block. just get it decked to up the compression. neil.
460question i have a 72 460 ford ,the pistons are 30 down the hole ,can anyone tell me if this is because the pistons are shorter than say a 69 ,that is 10 down the hole or because the deck is taller??
