We bare metalled the doors and door shuts and sprayed them blue. The car is now all blue again!
We also put new Door seals on, these are from Studebaker international. We have a new windscreen rubber to go on and new quarter window rubbers too.

The car is up for sale as we're all moving to Northern Ireland and getting 4 cars over isn't cheap...it's 15.5K ono. See my add in the cars for sale section.

New boot cylinder. We've had it knocking around for ages and decided to fit it tonight. The old knackered cylinder is in my hand.

You can still get a lot of parts for these cars, I got a new door key for it too, 6 bucks

We decided to put new wheels on the Stude. We stole the wheels from the Mustang and got new Wheels for the Muzzy.

This meant changing the front hubs for US Ford PCD. The Cortina 3/4/5 hubs on the car are Chevy PCD. The Explorer rear end is obviously Ford so the front will be changed.

I sent the new hubs to Mike at Meadow Engineering in Otford, he's a real fuss pot and did a lovely job on the hubs, they're Explorer 1/2" wheel studs to match the rear.

Picked up the bonnet and boot from Elite Crash Repairs in Leaves Green.

    They've done a lovely job

Will refit in a few days
